Does anyone know of a shop in Brandon, FL that will do 3% tint. I've called alot of local shops and they can only go 5%.

 

2% (the difference between the two) you will not notice the difference. What is the point in going 3%?

 

Plus it will only give you headaches. I know cops around Orlando love giving out tint tickets.

 

Well I decided just to get 5% limo tint. None of the shops around here carry darker tint, and with my black interior it will look more black anyways. It's probably gonna cost me around $150 for all the windows and a 7 inch strip on the front window.

Well 5% would equal 3% considering the window is tinted form the factory.

 

Well I got my tint done today, the guy used Lumar tint which is the best stuff out their. I did 5% all the way around with a 7" strip going to the bottom of the rearview mirror. it looks awesome. Once it stops raining I will post pics. It only cost me $150 and I got a lifetime warranty with it...most places wont do that on illegal tint. My wife got 15% on her car, and they told her absolutely no warranty at all. Well at least now both our cars will be cooler and not as hot when we get off of work.

 

Well now that I got my tint on, I'm noticing that all the car lights look green from the inside of my car. I'm not sure if this is because the tint is new and hasn't fully dried yet or if the tint is ****. My last car had 5% limo and never did this. Also I'm noticing it is very easy to see out of my car...like it has 35% tint or something any ideas? Thanks

 

I would hope its easy to see out of the tint or you'd be driving blind.

 

I have Lumar 5% too and lights don't look green through it at all. I've had the same tint from the same shop on my last 4 cars with no problems. No warranty, cash only though.
