Default Front end abuse

I don't know if it's because in NJ every rode I take my car on has rocks and debris and all, but when I washed my GT the other day I noticed a bunch of chips and dings on the front fascia. My friend said the way they airodynamicly designed the bumber is subject to more road abuse. Has anyone else noticed an abundance of chips and marks on the front edge of their hood and bumber. It's very freakin aggravating.

I've noticed it, my white front end has quite a few scratches and marks from stones and other debris...

I do have a few, but what bugs me the most is all the dust and stuff that collects on the rear bumper. What's up with that?

I think black cars are the worse for marks, dirt & sh*t!

I've had the same problem. It seems like I'm outside with the touchup paint on a reoccuring basis.

Black paint and light colored primer make the chips show up so much more. The paint seems to be very brittle and prone to chipping more than any car I've ever had before. Has anyone else noticed that the windshield glass also seems to chip very easily. Mine has several deep chips. I drive on paved roads only, but still have a lot of chips on the bumper, the fender flairs, the top of the hood and hood edge and even the A pillars.

I too have the same problem. Has anyone tried one of the clear bra products (3M,etc...)?
