Cervinis Side scoops......
So like a Jackass I see Mrbodykit.com. Not sure who has dealt with these guys, but just from NOT doing my research on body parts, I learned the hard way. I ordered the (how they list it as "Eleanor" hood) which is a rip off of the Cervinis hood which I now know, and upper and lower side scoops. (also eleanor style) They never could answer who actually manufactures them and they didnt even have a model number (cheesy right) Luckily the hood fits good with no major problems( except one un noticable wave down the side if ya look really close). But the scoops are terrible! Not one of them fits on the car. They are warped beyond repair! My body shop said they would have to do all kinds of custom bs to make them fit and id be lucky if they stayed on! I'm pissed.Their packing was cheesy and customer service was not even close to helpfull. They kept making up excuses why I cant return the poorly manufactured parts.
So I went right to the source and called Cervinis (good guys Imo)
Im sure some of you have the Cervinis side scoops. How good or bad was the installation process.?

RE: Cervinis Side scoops......
Sorry you had to learn the hard way but Cervini is hands down the best quality for body pieces IMO. When I wanted to customize my Roush, I used the cervini side scoops and 1/4 window scoops and my car is at the body shop right now getting the Cervini ram air hood and custom stripes painted.
The cervini side scoops are a no brainer and just tape right on. If you tape out the measurement for them first it makes it much easier to get the placement perfect. The 1/4 window scoops are a little tricky only because they are a perfect fit. 'perfect' in that they are exactly the same size as the window. Don't try to 'eyeball' those. The best approach is to tape them off first, then put the 3m tape on them and martch them into your tape 'border' that you taped off. Install them like this and it's easy peasy and a 10 minute job. Try to eyeball tham and it's tough.
YES, I tried to eyeball them at first and after an hour, I finally got smart and taped them off...lol

LOL.....there are some definite Cervini fans around here...I'm one of them. Besides the fullkits we have done, we also did the same fordfan with a Roush....side and window scoops made that bad boy look even better

RE: Cervinis Side scoops......
I just got the scoops today and all you guys are totally on the money! They fit like a glove (according to my body guy!) He said he will have no problem installing them. Thats a good thing. I do plan to finish the kit eventually. Even though I only got the hood, and 4 scoops it will look bad *** when i get it back! Once I complete the sideskirts, front bumper and wing I have to think about 20's for the wheels! thanks a mill for your input!

Fordfanboy said it all and the Cervinis company does have a great fit. I have the whole kit on my 06 and have no regrets!

I know you have to wash and sand the parts but I mean did everythng line up?
I was wondering since I hear good things about Cervinis Can I buy the kit and send it out for paint?
Thanks.

The pipe work is simple bolt in project, everything you need is with the kit to mount them.
And yes with the paint work, get your parts and send them to the best shop you have(meaning they got know-how on polyurethane)
This is a very high quality kit!

1+ the fit and finish is spot on and I had no fitment issues. Make sure the paint and body guy spends time on prep and gets all the mold release off the parts before priming. I had my guy thicken up the primer (extra coats) and the stripes are cleared with no edges. Smooth as glass!!!!!
