Why is it so hard to find a nice pair of black seat covers with the GT emblem on them? I just want to protect my leather seats and have a cool logo on them.

 

I was reading about the airbag deployment on ford's website, I believe it said that our seats have the airbags built into the them. Something equivalent to side airbags. If this is the case putting on seat covers restricts those airbags to deploy if the car is ever involved in an accident. To protect the leather I totally agree with you but if it causes restriction in the event of an accident there would be no way I would put them on there.

 

well, not all new mustangs have them. only the 08 have it standard. 05-07 it was an added option. anyways, its easy to see if you have side airbags b.c there is a little tag on the side of the seat. so, if there is no tag, then putting on seat covers isnt going to harm anything.
