Question
Well im dressing up under my hood and was wondering if its socialy ok to have items with Roush on them under the hood of a V6 4.0L. A good example is that i wouldnt put GT stuff under the hood but i was wondering if Roush fell under that same catagory.

RE: Question
i dont see why it wouldnt be okay. im getting a roush hood scoop (ordered today!) and they make a nice product.
when i get around to the engine bay dress up, steeda makes a ton of stuff for our stangs, so maybe check them out as well.

RE: Question
Put any mod you want on your car and don't worry what the "purists" say. Shelby, Roush, Steeda and others have their various parts available to the general public-they make a lot of money that way. If they only wanted their pieces on their model of cars, they wouldn't make them available to every aftermarket store in the world, they would require proof of ownership before selling their scoops, badges, spoilers etc.

That was what i had intended to ask. I was jsut curious if Roush was considered to be a BADGE. Thanks for the posts.

RE: Question
Here's a though that might put an end to the controversy:
Why not contact Roush, explain that you don't own a Roush Mustang but you would like to buy some of their emblems to put on it-see if they will sell them to you.
Maybe someone who likes the little snake thingies can do the same with Shelby.
