Default Emblem from Autobadges.com

Has anyone put a Hood Scoop emblem on their 05-07 GT? I have a "281" badge that I want to put on. It is held on by two-sided tape but that doesn't seem to be the problem - the Hood Scoop is contoured slightly, and Iwas wondering how everyonebent the emblem to fit the contour. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

I don't think I would try bending it, but if I were you I would look for some other, thinner badge.....maybe something off a classic model. The thinner it is, the better it will fit on a curved surface.

Hey, I recently bought a 281 emblem from autobadges, this one, "3" x 1" 281 Brushed Aluminum Silver NO WEB Emblem" and put one on each side of my stock hood scoop. All I did was remove the backing and just stick them on, the curve is so slight that if you just press lightly on the entire emblem it sort of conforms to the scoop and is totally stuck on there. So far its been through a few snow and rain storms as well as a car wash with no problems whatsoever.

DJ, thanks. That's the exact one I bought. My car is put away for the winter (Chicago), so I won't put it on until Spring, butby any chance can you post a pic or two of how it looks on your hood? Would love to see it and where you put it exactly on the scoop.
thanks.
