i had an accident a while back that warped/scratched a couple of my rims, so i had to get some new ones. i loved the ones i had on it, they were Mille Miglia EV-S Types, but they were discontinued over a year ago in the US. only place you can get them now that i've found is in the UK and they don't come in a 5x114.3 bolt pattern

so after much searching, researching, and changing decisions, i decided to go with Euromax 612's from Edge Racing. these are the same rims that come on the S281 Heritage Edition and they look like a more modern rendition of the classic bullits. i got the silver finish and i'm hoping to eventually get them powder-coated black. i'll be running my current 285-40-18's in the back and got 2 new 275-40-18's for the front. when the time comes to change out the backs, i'll switch them to match the front sizes so i can rotate. i'm using Nitto NT555's of course [8D]

i attached a pic of the wheels and a pic of them on the S281 Heritage Edition. they should be on my car by friday so i'll take pics then.

Dude, that really sucks about your wheels. They were always one of my very favorite ones....very clean-looking and everyone hadn't worn that look out.....very unique~!

yeah i got them from Edge Racing. i called them and at the time they didn't have them in stock, but the guy on the phone said he could get them shipped directly from Sport Max so they'd get to the body shop in the same amount of time as if they had shipped from Edge's warehouse. great service and everything. i would have bought my tires there too, but they don't sell Nitto.

i asked about the gun-metal (anthracite) ones because they looked almost black in some pics, but the guy said they are a light grey... not even cose to dark grey, much less black.

i think the bronze would be sweet on a black stang, you don't see that too often, if ever.

06elnr: i plan on lowering it eventually, it probably won't be till august though.

SaddleUp: thanks man, i loved the wheels i had and i'm sad i couldn't find them anywhere. i actually looked into how much it would cost to import some 5 lug ones from England and them have them drilled out to my bolt size, that's not gonna happen. i just hope i like these as much...

the car should be ready on friday, so that will be the moment of truth.
