Default GT500 conversion kit

Who sells the GT500 conversion kit? I really just like the grill and front facia. If anyone has ever done this conversion before, how difficult is it or will it just bolt right up?

it is very easy to do and yes it just bolts up but there are several parts you need, there are 10-15 people on here that have done it. pm mellowyellow and he will get you in touch with the man!
here is a parts list https://mustangforums.com/m_3444863/tm.htm

The whole kit is on eBay for $1,500 plus shipping, or you could haggle different dealers in your area and see who gives you the best price. If you know someone who owns a shop or a business, maybe they can get the dealer discount and get you a percentage off.

You can't just change the grill and bumper. The headlights change, some mouting brackets, the radiator plastic cover, the fog lights are seperate, the lower chin lip is seperate, and the wheel wells may change; I don't remember. You can usea stock hood, though.

It's costly because you have to buy a bunch of parts (14, in my case).
Nothing interchange, that's why.

The stock hood will work. No problem.
You're looking at 2K by the time it's painted and installed.

Here, email Kevin at: clevparts@aol.com he can hook you up with the kit and his is the guy Mellowyellow will give you also. He has a "full" kit hardware and all. You can tell him I sent you if you want, he is very cool and a ford part dealer at a ford dealership in CA.

thanks for the info cutterwolf, sounds like the best bet for me.my dealer up here will probably rake me over the coals for the parts.

anyone have an answer about the hid headlamps? are they compatiable with the gt500 conversion??? This would be my only concern doing the swap that the gt500 lamps wont work with the oem hids on my 08!!
