I need a little help on picking stripes for my 2008 vapor mustang. The only for sure thing I know is that they are going to be black. Please pick either 1 or 2.

 

Personally, I like 2 but with pinstripes.

 

I like Number 1 I can't put my finger on why I think I have seen it some where I'll remember where some day.

 

Oooohhhh, tough call!!!!!!!! Mine came with the 2 shelby stripes (#2)so I didn't have to choose. I like them but eeeehhhh, I think I'd go with the super stripe (#1). However, be careful, they attract a LOT of attention good and bad. Good=chicks...bad=cops. no kidding, you want to see the cops eyeball your every move, put some stripes on it!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

its a tough decision.... but i would go with 2

 

I like option 2 but with the pin stripe as well..i think you should consider that..but if these were the only options you want for sure then i would choose option 1.

Are you having them painted or are they vinyl?
Painted strips are more expensive, but they last a lot longer than vinyl.

I've read where some guys who have had vinyl stripes put on have a shop clear coat the top to protect the stripe, but I feel if you are going to go through that much trouble, get it painted.

 

If you plan to keep the rocker stripes #2 IMO. Went for #1 on mine but only did the hood.
