autobadge tint
I'd like to tint my tail lights with a film (painting is just a bit too permanent). Autobadges sells pre-cut tint for this purpose. But I'm curious about how or whether or not the tint covers the grooves between the flat, smooth sections of the tail lights. Anybody here installed this?
Seems like if the groves weren't covered, the grooves would look like bright red stripes between darkened sections of tail lights.

well i didnt go through autobadges, but i got a kit from a seller on ebay. it was how you described it, the tint covers the main tail pieces but the grooves stayed uncoverd at least how i had to do it. not sure if a kit could do this, i would think it wouldnt stay right. the grooves are darker than the tails themselves though so im not sure if you would be able to see a difference.
