Default Factory painted side view mirrors

I just received two brand new factory painted side mirrors. They are basically OE power mirrors that are painted factory tungsten gray with a nice thick clearcoat. I will install them this evening, I think it will be a nice addition as I really hate black mirrors on a non black car. I will post pics later.

Nice - there is a company (hubcapplus) who sell (not sure if they manufacturer / paint them) stick on covers that are color coded to the body, I was toying between getting these or having the stock mirrors resprayed so I'll be interested in seeing how yours turn out....

I had mine painted over the summer while the car was in the shop getting some hail damage fixed. Because they took so long, (almost a month) I guilted them into preping and painting them for free. I've got some pics in my gallery although it's hard to tell they are even painted because of the light.

They look like they weren't sanded first. I personally like the covers that have a smooth finish that look better against the body of the car. Although, painted none the less is better than unpainted.
