Default gt500 front end conversion help

i just got a cervini's eleanor hood for my 07 gt. and in a few months i'm going to be doing a gt500 front end conversion. and ive been looking at pictures of guys who already did the conversion. and the hood curves up when it goes above the grille. but the hoods on normals dont rise at all. would i have to do some modifications to my hood when i get the front end conversion or will i have to order a whole new hood?

you can use the hood with the GT500 front end conversion.

All the hoods for the GT500 bumper will curve up like that. Not all hoods and bumpers work together but like he said, your combination is safe. Here is a chart to go by:

GT500 hood / GT500 bumper YES
GT500 hood / GT/V6 bumper NO
GT/V6 hood / GT500 bumper YES

The reason there could be a problem with some combinations is becayse the pillars next to the headlights slope in more on the GT500 bumper. If a GT500 hood is used on a GT or V6 bumper, the more vertical pillars on that bumper will be in the way when you try to close the hood, and the hood will not close.

Haha you're not the first to bring up Mad Max. Yeah I got it painted but I don't have any pics. East87 took this one at the last cruise though:
