Default engine start button

I bought an engine start button on ebay. It's made by keep it clean wiring. I'm not satisfied with the button, the wording on the button(engine start)in white letters is just a sticker that will fall off in a short time. Is there a button made at a good price that the wording is painted or something that will not come off. I like the word engine start on the button, I don't want it coming off.

Depends on what you think is a "good price". I got mine from Buyfordracing (Emustangparts on Ebay I believe) and they have it for $110.

help me out here...$110 for a button to start the car but still requires the key to be put in and turned?? My girls Altima has no key required to be installed in key hole and turned...but the push button starts the car. This just doesn't seem right. If Ford sells a similar kit for the "stang.. I'll buy one

Default New Push button start system

I've installed 2 of these in my cars and love them. They are $139 but it solves the mounting location problem and the button is very cool. It was pretty easy to install. The lettering doesn't wear off either.

they are made the exact same way....here is a good example

i always buy clothes from hollister, american eagle, and abercrombie and fitch....i was in my local kmart found a sweet shirt for 2 dollars, so i was like hey ill take it....

I have never got as many compliments on a shirt as i did on that shirt....

so buy the inexpensive one...does the same thing and looks the same....
COMMON SENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used the engine start button form a Honda S2000. I bought it form a honda dealer for about $40. I think it looks great on our cars because the chrome trim matches the IUP interior perfectly. The only trick was that the honda button is just a little larger then the cigarette lighter hole. Also, it needs a connector. I used a wiring harnass for a 3.5" computer floppy and it worked great. Checkout my how to articles for more details.
