Default How to make a Mustang more retro?

Hi, all. Newbie here.

I've been looking at endless photos of 2005-2009 Mustang GT's, and love the retro look. I'm trying to figure out how to make the car I eventually buy look more retro.

I Photoshopped some wheels and tires from a 1969 Mach 1 on to a 2007 GT, which you can view here. I don't know how hard it would be to get those wheels and the white-letter tires to fit a current model.

I'm just wondering if there's other accessories out there to make the current models look even more retro.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

I guess the question is how to get as close to here from here as possible without actually buying a '69 Mach 1.

I'll be using the car as a daily driver (not many miles, though), and can't justify the $$$ for an original, or risk having a part fail that will take months to find.

No, at Cervinis you could drop a lot of money, a mortgage, the naming rights to your first born............. just don't go on their website with a credit card in hand! But they do have quality stuff, and dont think i've heard a bad word about them. And if you are looking retro, they can give you some really good options to pick and choose from, good luck!
