sequential problems
Once again, put the stang into light testing
mode and then replace any bulbs that dont light.
If it dont light, replace it.
Then see if you sequentials are woking..
Its good to hear that the 2010 Mustangs are
going to have FACTORY sequentials.
The WebElectrics are the worst about going bad.
I have actually evaluated the different brands
of sequentials and the CDC Dynamite Sticks
win hands down. The WebElectrics are dinosaurs
compared to the newer SMT technology the
CDCs use.
The next down on the list are the Meter4It kits.

I purchased WebElectric's plug-n-play harness for my 07 and had numerous problems with them. The #3 bulb on the left was dim, and the right side was fast. Sometimes I'd get 2-3 lights when locking the car. Called the vendor, he said to try the force reset. Start the car, and leave the right turn signal on for five minutes. This corrected my issues briefly. I returned the product and he sent me a replacement. Worked well for a while, then had issues. I returned them for a full refund, didn't feel like messing with them anymore. To their credit, nothing but positive comments for WebElectrics regarding their customer service and policies.
more problems. Now i do have a Avic-D3 with GPS. The last couple times i have gotten home. I pull the parking brake, and then like the car flips out. My speedo just jumps around from 0 to like 20 and stuff and the car will start beeping telling me my parking brake is on. Then it will shut off and flash again.
Could this be due to the VSS wire for the Avic being loose. It was hard to get to, and i'm not sure if it coming loose is messing with the parking break and speedo. Any ideas on this problem?

Yea seems like these are prone to problems, but your right about their customer service (and AmericanMuscle.com's for that matter) I had to replace my first set.
They are as long as they are not WebElectrics
or cheap no name eBay sequentials. You really
do get what you pay for when it comes to sequentials.
Go with a good name brand like CDC Dynamite Sticks
or a Meter4it chase kit.
Or wait for the 2010 Mustang that comes stock with sequentials.
Finally they incorporate a mod into the production line that forum
members have been doing for years now.

However someone mentioned it may be a short in the harness. How would i go about testing for this short.
Mine seem to work fine... when signaling and with hazards but I noticed that only 2 light go when I lock the car on the left side and all 3 on the right side... but if i do it again right after all 3 light up on both sides I thought it was nromal or something because of the amount of power going to the lights for the amount of time..... as in it sends a bit of electricity but it cuts out before it can finish lighting all 3 sometimes.... thats what I was thinking at least.
