I am not a big fan of the spoiler delete; and if you are going to take it off you should have it repaired correctly at a body shop. JMO.
Well I dont plan on leaving it like this. Since this trunk lid has the sirius sat radio thing on it I figure ill end up getting a shelby spoiler and eventually get another trunk lid and swap them out as I wish.
I had to do some modifying to the plugs so I could use the same size on all of the holes since whoever installed my spoiler apparently had 3 different size holes. 2 were just right, 1 was a smaller hole, and the last was oval (WTF)
mine where like that too.. I think they're all like that.
spoiler delete with a slammed suspention is the best look for our cars.
yes it is!!
use some small carriage bolts, they work the best. Grab a can of white rattle can paint at home depot, spray the bolts, and enjoy! looks great. mine matches the ford oem white, perfectly.

A carriage bolt eh? YOU sir, just made me decide to proceed with removing that spoiler off the trunk.
Did you just drop the bolts through and put a nut underneath the lid? - I wonder if the touch up paint you can get at autozone etc.. would work?

eventually in the summer i will get the holes filled for good. yea the only carriage bolts i could find that had a nice smooth top with no stamped letters on it, were 4 inch ones(way too long). So i sprayed them white with simple rattle can paint. I put some clear silicone under the head then dropped them down. Then put 3 washers on each, one larger washer to clear the underside of the bolt head then 2 smaller ones, then the nut. Then i put more silicone around the washers, and cut the bolts.
I had 4 rubber plugs on it, but the carriage bolts look much better.
