Default AGENT 47 headlight delete Question

Stupid question, Is it possible to JUST delete my headlights with this kit http://www.agentfortyseven.com/S197/ramair.html# and make the grill lights my regular lights (or use GT conversion fogs with a stronger bulbs)? I only ask because i'm not sure if the actual headlight delets fit my v6 bumper. And no, I wouldn't use the actual intake system. Thanks in advance

It will not work and be legal, totally custom too. Not worth the hassle IMO

I LOVE the 70's style front end. I can't help it Now i'm happy.

EDIT:

Oh wait, i thought you said it WOULD work. My mistake. How would it not be legal? As I said before, i wouldn't use the intake system (which I thought wasn't street legal), just the dress up accesories. I coulda swore i've seen a grabber orange mustang on here has that this set up. Not sure if they used the intake system though. Any help would be appreciated.

It would be totally legal until it got dark outside. Most state statutes regulate things like head lamp height and proximity to the side of the vehicle. If you had some really bright/headlight appearing lights where your fogs are I wouldn't pull you over though.

The grill lights are not driving lights, they are fog lights. I have tried turning off my headlights at night and just driving with my fogs and you cant see ****. Keep your headlights and look for other 70s appearance mods. The intake has nothing to do with being illegal. You can run ram air all you want. The illegal part is that without headlights you wont see anything and other people wont see you.

Deadbeat, what if you tinted your headlights and got some splitters?

I havent really looked into blacking out the headlights and havent really looked at the splitters. I wouldn't put regular fogs on the grill but i'd put some aftermarket fogs that are more brighter. I guess this is something i'll just have to do and if i get pulled over i get pulled over. I'm just thinking, if the 1970 mustang has this look stock then it should be okay for me to sport it as well. Thanks for all the help everyone!

Its totally illegal and a safety concern more or less....the lights wont be at the correct angle either. You are missing the point here. Its not about brightness either. I have the silverstars in my fogs and headlights, its all the same brightness. Mounting them on the grill will lead to 1 light pointed one way and the other the opposite or something. It wouldnt even function like "headlights" would.

Lol, not a bright idea...

Unless you rig up some kind of adjustments and the cops will still give you crap is you get pulled over.
