It's the outside of the light that gets painted right? I've been wanting to do a silver color on my performance white and do the middle section of my trunk also. Looks really good!

Looks great! Im just wondering how much light actually comes through the black? Can you tell me how much light you lossed by doing this? 50%?

the paint is automotive cleacoat mixed with a bit of black....i use clearcoat so the light reduction is minimal..there is no problem at all seeing them during the day as well as night...

30 easy. I asked for mine to be dark! They can do them lighter. It is actually the daytime that was a little dark for me...when I apply the brakes.
I added an LED third to make it safe.
I'll post up some night pic's later tonight for you. I'm off tomorrow so I'll post up some daytime pic's for you if check back then also.
I'll will also show how bright the LED is day and night.
