I think if they wer simply welded in / flush with the body, they would be perfect. And I like the front of the cs6 myself. A while back before I got my stang. I was hanging out in the teamshelby forums thinking I may get that kit, but have never been a fan of any scoops that look taped on. I've seen way to many new edges with their scoops hanging on by a piece of rubber/glue.

i never said it would be easy lol. I'm just saying if that side scoops that looked just like that could be made flush and look like it's the same piece as the fender, that would be great

They make the car look meaner. Also, more like some of the old mustangs that came factory equipped with fake brake cooling scoops. Finally, with a little hard work, they give you the opportunity to actually add brake cooling ducts to your rear brakes if you want to.

+1000 !!!!!

He nailed this on the head. I thought these were Shelby specific scoops and I was a sucker and ordered them from Shelby for $185. When they showed up I was stunned to see the Xenon box! Long story short, I called Shelby to complain and they said I'm like the fourth person to call in.... AmericanMuscle.com sells these shipped for $124!!!! Same product! Listen to the following if you want these scoops: DO NOT ORDER THESE FROM SHELBY! Order from AmericanMuscle

Wow that is f**ked up of shelby to pull that crap.... it would have been funny though if they scratched out xenon and wrote shelby overtop of it LOL

This is my case:
$185 for the scoops
$20 to ship
$205 total to my door

Well, after calling them and complaining to them they said they would fully refund them for me, but I would have to ship them back and also eat that shipping... So that would be $40 round trip for shipping. So technically I would only be getting $145 back (after shipping both ways) Then if I ordered from American Muscle for $125 I'd only make $20 back.... Where as if I would have just ordered them from American Muscle the first time I would have saved $80!!!!!

The sales guy, Enrique, that was dealing with me was pretty cool, but his hands were tied. He did respond back to me the next day saying they would give me a $20 credit towards future parts.... What future parts!!? I'm never ordering directly from Shelby again...
