Default Seats..

I just bought an 05 GT with the red / black leather seats in them and I was wondering if anyone knew how much they MAY sell for (and how much do they weigh?). I want to put something lighter in there. I'm looking at some Sparco's. Plus I'm not a huge fan on leather.
Thanks.

Depending on condtion, around $350. <---- thats the last price I remember seeing them on newtakeoff.com (taken off low milage cars).

I think cgts18 meant the whole seat, not just the covers. Since he wants to possibly replace with sparco. But I would recommend checking ebay, I have seen a few whole seat's for sale, but can't remember the prices.

anyone know how much the gt500 seats are? i really like that the side bolsters actually work, not like the flimsy bolsters that were given. and i don't really want "race" seats. just want some good support as i do end up all around the place.

Haha WOW I was hoping those seats didn't go complete for 350.00. I was about to call FORD cheap as hell again.. (I've had a Toyota for almost 4 years). Yes, I switched from a Celica GT-S last weekend. This car is HEAVY and I really don't have much cash so I'm trying to lighten it up if I can sell the seats and swap em' out for a start.

at 3550, this car is pretty light. it's definitely a nimble car. a lot of people describe the car as a point and steer type of drive.

Well in general to me it's heavy, especially coming from a car that's almost 1000 pounds lighter.

lol, compared to a celica, it's definitely heavy. For a muscle car, though, it's pretty damn light.

3500 lbs is LIGHT! Wow...
It could still use a weight reduction
