Default Oil Dipstick

Does anyone know how to get the handle of the metal dipstick portion? I bought a billit handle but I dont know how to get the old plastic handle off. It looks like there is a small pin of some sort but I dont know how to get it off.

Its a roll pin and you beat it off with a vice, a pin punch and a hammer.
What, no instructions with that custom billit handle? I would be ruturning
that puppy for a full and prompt refund asap. Darn Taiwain crapanize

You're got to "punch" the little pin out with a small hammer and a punch awl/small screwdriver. Tap it a few times to get a ltttle bit of the pin out then grab it with a needle nose pliers to pull it the rest of the way out. Put the new handle on and tap the pin back into place on the new handle.
