Sounds good, congrats. I definately miss the feel of the ball over stock, i'll have to pick one up soon.

Be sure to get one with the new S197 that has 12x1.25mm threads
and not the one designed for the SN95s with 12x1.75mm threads.

I did the same thing.

What I did a little later on is take a small piece of billet, drill it out and tap it, and flipped the Roush grommet upside down (again, putting electrical tape beneath it to keep it tight). Roush should've made their grommet threaded, or shorter. Then, eventually, I got the Hurst and bought a black ball for it.

Wow that looks really nice. I wish i had some white in my interior that would match the white ball.

Yeah, that's why when I got more stuff done inside, and got my Hurst, I decided to go with the black ball.

that looks great, i spray painted my hurst ball black, since it started chipping after a year, but your interior looks killer!!

I love this shift ****! I have a short shifter on my stang. Does anyone know if this will fit if you have a short shifter? Thanks guys
