Default 10" rims: 275, 285, or 295 tires?

I'm leaning toward the 275 but I'm afraid the rim is too wide for the tire. I could do a search but I'd rather talk to you guys that have the setup.
My car is a daily driver and it's lowered with the Eibach pro kit. I dont want fender or clearance issues and just purchased a set of 20" rims.

What do you think? 275, 285 or the 295?

285's on mine, but I've 18" wheels.
Also my DD, now that winter in on it's way out.

the 295's will fit nicely and I have 285's right now. 275 will fit fine too...matter of preference and how much rubber you want to the ground.

I think the wider the tire the more under steer you have...but for straight line traction it is the way to go IMO with the staggered setup!

mygt500,
What kind of 285's do you run? no issues with fender clearance?

I have 255/35/20 front and 275/35/20 back. Car is a daily driver. The 285+ in the back would have cost me a lot more money so that is why I chose the 275s. They work for me just fine.

IMHO, after personally researching this very topic for several weeks & now owning, 295's fit the best....plus I wanted to match up the over all diameters of the front & rear tires on my car so one didn't look smaller than the other

255/35/20 - 27.1"
295/30/20 - 26.94"

275/40/18's on 9.5" wide rims, stock suspension and you can fit Rosie O'donnell in the gap...

05Mustang, with your 295's, do they tuck inside the fender? I'm assuming from the photo's that your car is lowered. btw, your car looks great.

Thanks very much for the info

Nuke, thanks for the visual dude.

I run
285/35/19 on a 19x10 Rear
275/35/19 on a 19x9 Front
No issues.
