Default Help with Splitter choice!!

Well, I think I will be going outside the norm on this purchase, but I would like a few opinions before pulling the trigger in the morning!

I can get the following with free shipping...

Steeda Front Splitter Black Gel Coat - For 05-09 Mustang GT $369
Steeda Front Splitter Carbon Fiber - For 05-09 Mustang GT $399

Or painted and shipped from another vendor for $460

I know the CDC chin spoiler is an option, but Im not a real fan of it. I like the Steeda Front splitter look wayyy better.

So do you think the black gel coat will go ok with my black mustang or will the carbon fiber go better?

OR, just man up and get the painted to match one?!? for a few $$more?

I know I can get the CDC one painted, but I like the look of the splitter better...

just my opinion!

Do you have any pics of the gel coat? Without pics, I'd say pony up for the painted version. I'm not a big fan of carbon fiber, so that wouldn't be my choice, but some people really like it, so it just depends on if you like carbon fiber for that option.

depends on your setup on the car...post up some pics of your ride so we can see it....a lot of times, carbon fiber is a sexy accent to an already beautiful and tempting stang!

on that car, i would definately go with the carbon fiber splitter as long as its REAL carbon fiber and not the "look-a-like" stuff....

I would go with carbon fiber out of those choices.
Have you considered Cervini Type III?...it is similar.

I vote painted. It's only $60 more and will match the rest of the car.
