GT500 Conversion underway (no 56k)

Looks outstanding thus far....and totally familar as well. My conversion is still very fresh in my mind so I definately understand your excitement. I sure wish I coulda done the fender badge removal too....between that and 05 slipping in the 'I had the painter remove the locating spots on the bumper for where the license plate goes' I know now my conversion could have been even better, but money dictated how I did mine and I can certainly live with the results.
Yours definately looks outstanding thus far. Are you putting stripes or a stripe on yours (I cant remember what you said you were going to do in your pm), and if so, what color??
Keep us updated. Everything looks great thus far.

I was going to put on a Roush spoiler, do a ghost SS stripe and a couple other things but I'm going to wait. The hood prep is putting me over budget.
I just put 20s on and after seeing yours, lowering has moved up the list.
I can't wait for this to be done either

Ouch dude!
Did they charge you for orange peel?!?!
The finish on the hood looks terrible...
Worse than the factory quality on my F150!
If they plan on wet sanding and buffing that hood to get rid of that peel, they'll have to go too far down and thus, remove too much clear...
It has to be recleared.
No offense to you sir, but if we can see this on Internet pictures, it has to be bad.

So it's been awhile since I updated this . . . basically the shop that started, did a terrible paint job, couldn't match factory properly . . . how is beyond me since the car is only 6 months old and the paint had primer showing through, was wavy, quite peely and down right disappointing. After being let down and searching for a shop that would take on the risk and fix the whole damn thing, the outcome is just amazing. I used Waters Autobody in Chatsworth to repaint the hood, bumper, fenders and doors and Carloonies (they're next door to each other) to paint the ghosted stripe. For those of you going to Long Beach this weekend you'll be able to see it in person. Here are some pics:
