Default Scott Drake 1/4 window trim

Hey guys, I saw this car in the last issue of 5.0 and it got me thinking about how the Scott Drake window trim might actually look good w/ my car since that window trim on a dark window would be reminiscent of the grey rim w/ polished lip. Before I saw this car I always thought that trim could look good but not w/o some kind of corresponding trim around the doors like the classic mustangs.
Obsidian Mustang:

Here is an s197 w/ the actual trim:

Here is my car just for reference:

So lets hear some opinions!

Oh yeah, I rotated some of the pictures so they are all facing the same way to get a better idea of how it would look. If anyone has an photo shop skills you could always chop the window and trim off that other s197 and put it on mine since they are pretty much the same size and perspective.

I have them on my Grabber and really like the finish. Now they come in both finishes, satin and polished.Just make sure you have two sided tape on the corners so it doesn't lift like mine did.(there is another backward GT emblem )

Yeah, lol. I just figured if someone would be so kind as to chop the other window onto mine the least I could do is save them a set and flip the pic of my car, I guess I should have flipped the other guy's car though.

I ordered some of the same trim from Blueovalindustries on ebay for mine. Other than wheels we have the same basic car. Don't have 'em yet though.

It's a cool look, but without any other area of the body done, it just looks a tad off imo.

You know what they say, though...different is better.

i think you should do it, it'll be a nice contrast to the lip on your wheels

I would definitely advise against any purchases from blue oval industries! They are the absolute worst company to deal with. When and if you actually do receive your trim be sure to check it for defects before applying it.
