I have a weird request. I have a white 06 v6 vert and I'm looking to have a spoiler installed within the next month or so and wanted some opinions. I'm kinda set on having a Roush spoiler installed...I love the look of those. However I'm thinking of having the spoiler painted black. Does anyone have or have pics of a white stang with a black spoiler? Down the line I'm going to do the GT500KR conversion front and rear as well as getting the TruFiber Venom hood. I'm not sold on having racing stripes with that set up, but until i do the swap I planned on having black lemans stripes done in vinyl when the spoiler gets installed. My first purchase was a 20" set of Black Shelby Redlines, so I'm going with a black and white theme. I might not have worded this correctly...so let me know if any clarification is needed. I think the black spoiler would look good, but unfortunately don't have any pics to post.

 

I think it would look good too. The woman almost has me sold on it, but I haven't been able to see any pics anywhere....I've been googling off and on for over a week and have yet been able to find anything so I thought I'd try here. Some one has to have that set up. Even if it's not a roush spoiler I'd still like to see a black spoiler on a white car. Thanks for all of the input!

Great find! It's not the Roush, but it at least gives some perspective on how the colors offset each other. I looked forever and couldn't find anything. I think I'm sold on it, but I would still like to see a Black Roush spoiler on a White car if possible.

I'm thinking Gloss black to match the Gloss black Redlines I have.

I'm also thinking of replacing my plastic stock side skirts for the painted GT black side skirts. I think it would flow nicely with the GT500 front end/chin spoiler and the bottom of the rear gt500 bumper( I think the black part at the bottom was called the Air Diffuser). Any thoughts?

 

I would vote for gloss black, unless you had flat black wheels or stripes. Then I might think about flat black. I would also agree with putting the painted side skirts on, as it would flow better with the front and rear fascia upgrades you mentioned.

Note....you might be able to get someone to do you a quick photoshop with a white stang and black roush spoiler in the chop shop section if no one posts up a pic of one.

 

Thanks. I'll post in there too and see if anyone will do that for me. Is newtakeoff the best/cheapest place to get the black GT side skirts? The cheapest I found that Roush spoiler is for $390...painted. It's not a roush 'style' spoiler...it's the real deal.

 

I'm not really sure on the best place to pick up a set of side skirts, you might want to post a new thread specific to that and see if someone will be able to jump in and provide some insight.
