I like that. How does it mount? I saw a few that were complete license plate frames but I don't know if they'd fit my plate since it's smaller than normal plates.

I also thought about mounting one in the trunk keyhole but can't find enough info on doing that.

Its very easy to do bro, all you have to do is remove the lock from the hole which is only to bolts and disconnect the cable from the back of the lock. Buy some thin metal you can bend so you can make a custom brackit to hold your camera and re-use the two bolts to mount it with to the trunk lid. You will also need to put down some 3M tape around the hole from the inside to seal the camera to the trunk lid to keep water from getting in and that its. Here is mine:

Also see this link for more pic's and info on doing it.

My only question is :
Is your licence plate still illuminated or did you
toss the light housing by the wayside?
How did you attack the licence plate illumination problem?
Have you solved the problem yet and if so, HOW?

The camera cost 120.00 It is a kenwood. It sticks up there with 3m tape, very solid. It is infront of the light. The light is in no way affected by the camera. No holes drilled no mods to the car what so ever, besides tapping into the reverse light wire to activate the camera.
