Default Painted Valve-covers

I'm going to be attempting a cam install next week and wanted to get some ideas on painting my valve covers instead of buying new ones. Which color would look best? My car is in my sig, I was thinking either RED or FORD BLUE and then get the killerglass.com coolant hose.

Really depends on what else is under the hood of your car but I would go chrome since you have a silver car.

I voted other, however with a silver stang blue should be ok. My car is vista blue, I had mine powder coated gold. Powder coating is the way to go, much more durable and scratch resistant. I had my plenum cover painted vista blue and then I painted the "powered by Ford" and the stripes gold. Looks sharp.

Depends on the direction you are going with the engine dress up....if youre not going to do anything other than the valve covers, then blue will do....

if you plan on doing something else than the plain jane look, than maybe a little tweaking should be considered...

So far the motor looks complete stock over than my JLT intake is painted silver to match the car! I'm planning on painting my calipers red so I was kind of thinking it would look good on the valve covers...

I would go RED. Not cause it matches your calipers but cause it will look good against the silver and black under the hood.

I've said it before and I will say it again, don't match everything under the hood or on the car. IT LOOKS STUPID when people do it.

It's about finding contrasting colors and making them all work together. I have red calipers and new ford blue cam covers.

I'm partial to black myself. But then again, I like a more understated look:

That's New Ford Blue... Ford Blue is a dark dark blue.

But it won't look good on the silver... Black or Red...
