Shopping for wheels for a mustang must be like a woman shopping for one set of shoes.............so so many choices and how do you pick just one? Its hard. I looked at hundreds of wheels on dozens of sites. is how I felt.

I wanted something 18x9 18x10, black with a polished lip (no chrome), black bullits or some variation. After choosing a set from cruzin concepts I then found out it was $650 to ship to Maui. AM wanted $462. Basically a replica rim tire combo that you all pay $1100 to $1500 is gonna cost me about $2k

Frustrated I decided to talk with my local custom shop guy and he to my surprise was able to get me a more name brand wheel installed for the same price as the replica ones online.

Rims are a little smaller but they still will hold the tires I want Nitto NT555 255/45/18 and 285/40/18

I am really excited and they should be here Monday or Tuesday. I even have a guy wanting to buy my 17' stockers to help offset some of the cost...........you gotta love craigslist!!
