what do you do with your stock parts after you change them.... I want to replace by bumper b/c I may be buying a body kit, what would i be doing with the stock bumper???

If I don't want to replace my front bumper is there a body kit that would look good and I would not need to replace my stock bumper?

Store it if you have the room and put it up for sale. If no takers, toss it in the trash (if you're normal) or into your front yard (if you're abbey normal).

the stock V6 front and rear fascia's don't sell for a whole bunch. Try your local Craigslist ? SOmeone who's damaged theirs may be searching for one.

I put a GT500 splitter on my V6, it looks killer, and was cheap. A guy in South Carolina builds a little flange to space them out and installs it on the GT500 splitter for about $200.

I generally just save my parts in case something ever happens and I need them again in an emergency. They are really not worth much.

I usually keep the stock stuff for a while.

1. I might decide later I don;t like the aftermarket part and can put the stocker back on.
2. I can always sell the stock stuff
3. If I trade in the vehicle, or sell it, whatever, I can put the stock stuff back and sell the aftermarket stuff for more than I would get
4. Might need some stock stuff if going in for warranty work...

Keep the major stock stuff that I may need later. Toss the stuff of no value.

I see you are in my neck of the woods too. Did you know that there is a performance shop in Chesapeake?

Back on topic....the only item I took off stock was the exhaust. For some strange reason, I haven't parted ways with them.

After tripping over the stock axleback from the g/f's V6 for the past 3 months, it went bye-bye with the trash man last week. My drivers side GT takeoff will see the same fate soon.

For whatever reason, we're holding onto the stock, amber front turn signals from both Stangs. But to be honest, I doubt I'd swap them back so they'll probably hang around until I get fed up enough moving them from spot to spot, then get pitched. Space has become a premium...
