Hey so I bought a throttle body through the forums and was given the tuner in the deal. Pretty sweet deal, but dont know much about how tuners work or what to do with it. The tuner is locked so I need to get it unlocked somehow.. where do I get the tune from? How do I get a tune that will work best for my car with exhaust, intake, etc...

 

You're gonna need to pay SCT to unlock the tuner for you, I forget the process but the cost is somewhere around $125-150. Go on their site for more info.
As far as getting a tune, go to Brenspeed or Bamachips for some good tunes and info. You're going to end up paying 50-75 per tune but those guys will hook you up with good quality custom tunes.
As far as the TB mod, FLAME ON! lol

 

Check with Brenspeed on unlocking the Xcal. They may be able to assist and their tunes are top notch.

Unless you're planning on going FI or doing some serious internal mods, I wouldn't screw with the TB. The stock TB is more than adequate for our engines and with the typical bolt-on mods. More people have had issues with aftermarket TB's than I can count.
