Just wondering where is the cheapest place to get window louvers from (side and back) preferably painted (side). Thanks.

I almost bought those, but I got a great deal on the Silver Horse Racing Louvers.

As far as the rear louver, I would recommend going with a hinged aluminum one. Sometimes I see them on Amazon for less than other vendors. The aluminum kind are more expensive than the plastic ones, but they will hold up longer with less maintenance.

Do you guys have Craigslist in Canada? Our local Craigslist has a pair of black painted Eleanor side louvers for $100. The guy totaled his car and is trying to sell his after market stuff.
You can check eBay too. I've seen some in there for cheap, but usually unpainted.

 

Thats where I have been looking is ebay. The cheapest I found on there has been 160 for the sides.

 

I got mine from a company called 'Sidewinders' or 'Sidewinding'...can't remember the exact name. They came in gloss black and costed around 70 bucks including shipping and handling. I'll be taking them off pretty soon, though. I ordered Cervini's rear aluminum louver and don't really like how the slotted side louvers look with the rear louver. Good luck with what you choose! Astro-Hammond aluminum rear window louvers are your best price for aluminum rear window louver, but they are fixed. If you want hinged, then MRT/Visus are the next cheapest.

Can't comment on the side window louvers, although I personally prefer the Silverhorse one myself.

I saw some Astro-Hammond aluminum rear louvers today on Amazon. They were like $399 with free shipping.
The only problem I see with those is you can not easily clean the back glass or wipe the slats from the inside. I had hinged louvers on my '82 GT, so I know how conveniently the hinge can be.
MRT direct has the best prices I found on the hinged ones.
