Default AM Smoked Taillight ?

For those of you that have American Muscle's smoked taillights, how many have applied clear RTV Sealer to the assembly before installing in the vehicle?

I put them straight on my car without adding anything extra... just threw them in place of the factory lights and haven't had any problems at all... no moisture or leaks... they've been on for about 6 months now and we've had terrible rain here in eastern NC for a lot of that time... lol

Thanks for the info. I put mine out without it also. If it does get moisture then I will seal them. My car isn't a daily driver, so it only gets wet when I wash it.

I put RTV on mine. I wasn't taking the chance after having my front halo's get moisture in them.

I dont have these lights but I usually run a bead of silicone on any aftermarket lights before I install them jst to be on the safe side. I've had too many times where I didnt do it and had to take everything off and let them dry and then re-install them. Its easier to just do it from the get go. Thats just my opinion though.
