Considering stripes...
So I picked the car up on a rainy weekend so yesterday I was able to give the car its first wash. Grabber Blue is such a wonderful color! Since before I ordered the car I was sure it needed "shelby stripes". But after seeing the car I'm convinced the two stripes struggle on the GT fascia. The pyramidal shape doesn't support the two stripes like the circular fascia's of the V6 and GT 500. I've found one pic online of what I think I may be leaning towards and I would love to get your thoughts...

i think your car would look good with the stripe that you pictured. I was considering the gt500 stripes on my torch red gt but now i'm leaning towards the one solid flat black stripe down the middle. Are you gin to have it painted or vinyl?

If I do it I will be having it painted. I'm still on the fence. I really like the way the car looks like now. I was thinking stripes to up the level of aggressiveness but I'm thinking the hood scoop is projecting that vibe very well on its own.

Looks great as is IMO. Stripes can be added anytime so wait it out a bit and see what you think later.
You're lucky to be in CA and be able to wash your new ride. It's 18 degrees here is NY and I'm dying to wash mine!

PSU Ben: Great looking ride! The stripes really are being worn well on your car. I'm curious if your GT (and others I've seen) look so strong is due to the stripes on the top of the car. Also I'm thinking the hood scoop may be increasing the triangular/pyramidal visual.
Meely: Gotta love the spoiler. Nice choice :-)
