Thanks all - I was pleased with the way it turned out. It was one of those times where once you start you think "if this looks like crap what am I going to do?"

Love the white gauge faces too - where'd you get them from?
I bought them on eBay, the seller has a website as well www.whitegauges.net and they are only $20.

Works great with the My Color. I changed to something a little brighter than before because it seems to reduce the brightness a little.

Here are some night shots of the white face gauges

Headlights off:

Headlights on and have the My Color set on blue

This is the other interior change I made -- blue LED's in the map lights

Thought I'd try some side-by-side pictures comparing the look

Instead of painting you can also use a combination of sandpaper and steel wool to make the rings have brushed finish.

Good job! I almost did the exact same thing. Instead I used some steel wool and gave the rings a brushed finish and then I painted the vents a flat/satin black. That was a couple years ago and they still look good today!

I thought about trying the steel wool, but wasn't sure if that would knock down the glare enough. I'd like to see your pictures when you get a chance though.

Cool Idea. I think I might try and remove all the IUP dash trim pieces and paint them a gloss black instead of the silver for my new stang (when I get her ^^). I want to go with a toned down all black for the interior. If I dont like it I'll just put the carbon fiber dash kit over it like I have on my current Mustang.
