I agree... here is a crazy idea... see how the real ones had "boss" & "302", make both lines in to one big "GT", the GT would be two colors cut in half. The bottom within the stripe are body color, and top half that are above the stripe are stripe color.

Boss stripes or Mach hood's keep crossing my mind for mine, so have some thought in to it.

 

Yeah, to me, the BOSS and Mach 1 stripes completely commit or compliment the 69-70 style on a S197.

Yes, do it. You love this look and the cars I've seen look good. It's all about personalizing your ride and it should make you happy.

 

I love 'em personally. I wish they came standard. You could always do a big 4.6L and/or your cars name ( I just assume everyone names their stangs) lol, go for it.

UpTo11, I like that one too, but would take away the GT and just have the 281. I wonder how 4.6L would look?
