new grill installed
So I just got done installing my pony delete black bullit grill....and boy was it a pain in the ***.
Now I don’t have an extra set of hands, so I opted to do things just a bit differently then the instructions said. First I removed the grill, popped off the pony and got the alignment down. Of course I was happy to discover that the plastic around the pony would need to be shaved completely down.
***Note to self.....using a semi dull knife to trim plastic = bad idea**
So a band-aid and plenty of blood later, the grill is on. Of course now it is night, and I really don’t have any good lights out side. But did that discourage me from finishing? Heck No!
So off to do the lower section. This by far was the easiest of the bunch....but of course klutz here and his gimpy finger ends up loosing rather then tightening the second bolt and got stuck finding the now separated bracket in the dark.
A bit of cursing and grunting, but she is all put together.
Over all....a complete pain in the *** to do *primarily due to the plastic*, but well worth the time and tetanus shot ^_^

Pics pics pics. Never mind that it is 10 pm :P
As you can see from this pic, the plastic border around the pony had to be completely shaved down in order for the grill to fit properly. It isnt noticable unless you are looking straight at the grill.
And as a warning..... DONT PLAY WITH SHARP *or rather dull* OBJECTS!
