Unfortunatly the lower grille is not completly open under there. youd have to do some cutting to open it up, which probaly wouldnt look too good! you can take yours out very easy..only a few tabs holding it on there, and see if you like it or not. only takes a few seconds.

I had similar issues with my lower grill and have been running without it for a couple months now. For darker cars, I don't think it looks too bad. I still may pick up a replacement, but leaving as is for now.

Yea I live on LI so luckily I have a front license plate so it covers it since the cracks on the top of the lower grill I was looking at stacks racing lower grill matches the front grill I just wanted to see if anyone had that completely off with the classic chin spoiler. I've seen it without it with the aggressive one and it don't look to bad just wondering...

Here's a quick shot I took mid-project on mine.

The front bumper is SUPER easy to cut, so getting those blocking plates off is cake. I cut mine with an exacto blade (corners) and a utility knife (like a stitch cut, only in a urethane bumper). It came out nicer than I expected and nobody would have guessed it without getting on hands and knees to inspect it.

Here's a detail shot of the fresh cut (no sanding/smoothing, etc.).

Best,
-j

It looks ok if you can cut cleanly

The only thing I dont like is the lower holes where the grill snaps in.
