Default This might be Crazy but...

Before i start i think every mustang is awesome is and i am not dising any bodys car. So i was thinking the other day about how awesomely agressive the 2011's look in the front and how much im not a fan of the new rear end. So i had the idea to some how change to the new front end on my 05 so i have what might be a really cool custom. Any body else ever thought of this or am insane?

I could'a sworn I seen a thread just like this the other day lol.

I'd save your money and do a GT500 conversion imo. You could even get the 2011 front lights for our cars if you still wanted to sport their look.

no worth it, the 05-09 front is no designed to accomadate the 10+ front and the body wouldnt flow right with it anyway

The fitment of the front ends don't match and it would be cost prohibitive but doable.

It's been done. Very expensive but it's been done. They had to change out the the whole front end and the side fenders so that it flows somewhat correctly

Here's a thread that talks about it:

I can't seem to find the pics

I've actually seen this done. I think someone makes a kit to put an S197 looking front end on an SN-95.
