Default Tinted Emblems

So My plan is to tint my Powered by Ford emblems and put them on my fenders to replace the "GT" emblems. I will also be getting the regular "Pony" faux gas cap and tinting that as well.

Anyone else tinted emblems on their cars? I'd like to see pictures so I know how dark to go. I still want the Powered by Ford to be readable. I tried tinting a cheap walmart emblem with the spray can of window tint and got spots on it so I will probably just take the emblems to a body shop.

You should sand it down lightly so that the paint adheres to the plastic better, those spots are just the aint building up more in one spot then others and making crater looking spots.
