hey guys have a white s197 and wanna do something with stripes.. i dont have a hood scoop so was wondering how silver stripes would be JUST on the hood to kinda make it not so boring? or should i do the whole car? pics?

Im kinda partial to the white/silver combo. I would do the whole car, not sure about just the hood.

If you are going to do stripes, make them bumper to bumper. Hood only would look horrible and the ones that go from hood to trunk dont look right to me.

Yeah not feeling stripes on the hood only.. there is a flow that is there when the stripes go all the way across the car... well I didnt take mine all the way to the front bumper but that was due to my hood scoop which gave a good end point for the stripes. Could always just stripe the hood first and see what it looks like then add the rest of the kit if you dont like it.. never know.. plus it is what you like not what we think.

Those are super sexy. Otherwise I've seen white with light silver stripes also. Has a more subtle look.
