I recently bought side scoops from shelby for my '08 GT premium (dark candy apple red) and took them to a shop and had them painted and applied. I must say i love the look of theses scoops, they make the car look so much more aggressive. I think it is because of how they go all the way back to the wheel unlike that of other brands. So i must say i love these scoops and how they look, the only issue i have with them is the inside of the scoop (where if it were real there would be a hole) I cant find an insert or a mess kit that is made for it. is there such a thing? As of right now i have the inside painted flat black, which looks good from far away, but not as great up close.

So could anyone help me out with where i can find a kit, or and sugestions on how to make it look better! thanks guys

I had the same problem with these.

Some people just paint the opening black I guess?

 

Thats what i had to do, i had the shop paint the insides a non glossy black and it looks good, just not great.

And unfortunately no photos yet, the weather here sucks right now so its either super dirty car or way to much fog to see. soon though
