Default New Wheels and Tires!!

Had the new wheels and tires put on over the weekend. Love them so far. It's been raining for a few days in Vegas, but the tires provide great grip - despite being "summer" tires.

Have an appointment on Wednesday to have the pro kit put in along with an adj. panhard and camber bolts.

Wheels: TSW Strip - Staggered with 20x8.5 in the front and 20x10 in the rear.
Tires: Nitto NT555 255/35/20 front, 275/35/20 rear.

Wheels look great man!

I'm in Vegas too. This rain is nuts. They say there will be the best lunar eclipse for the last 500 years tonight, and we won't be able to see the sky. That's friggin ironic since it only rains here like a few days a year. Why today?!?!?!

Good point! Lately, I've been "practicing" my parking pre-lowering. I obviously need more practice.

Exactly!! Reminds me too much of my hometown, Portland, OR.

A little off topic, but since you're in Vegas as well, you know of any good shops to get a dyno tune done? I went to Shelby American's new speed shop, but they're a little pricey.

Nah man, I'll be getting a flash tuner with my CAI later this year.

But I've got friends who would know. I'll try to get back to you.

That's a bit funny, if you ask me. Summer tires include being well rated for traction in rain. It rains in summer. It snows in winter. Yes, summer tires SHOULD have good grip in rain.

Got me! True, it does rain the summer. Rarely, if at all in Vegas though.

You have a point though. More than a few of the reviews for these tires indicated that they had poor traction in wet conditions. I was merely trying to point out that I haven't experienced this. My apologies for not being more clear.
