Default Help with visor strip lettering

I've been looking all day and must be stupid, because I can't find what I'm looking for.

I want some custom vinyl lettering for a visor strip, but I want the font to be the "hollow" type like that used by Roush http://www.corningfordmustangs.com/i...38395-0003.JPG

I've gone to just about every vinyl shop online, and they offer tons of fonts for your custom lettering, but I can't seem to find anywhere that offers that hollow font.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I think rather than look for "hollow" you need to be looking for "outline" on such font is Swis721 BlkOul BT, probably not quite the one you want, but the point is that it is an outline font.

Hey thanks! But yeah, I just figured that out too a few minutes ago while still looking around. But all of the sites offering outlined fonts still want a solid color for the inside part. I would want mine clear on the inside and ONLY the white outline.

I might just have to go to a local vinyl shop and tell them what I want. The online services don't seem to have that option.

Anyone find a place, I'm still interested.

Well, didn't have any luck on ebay either. I got close, but not exactly what I wanted.

The reason I'm looking to do this, because in the Spring when I redo all my stripes in carbon fiber, I'm going to take off all of the "Fifthwind" badging I've done and go with just something subtle on the visor. The rest of the car will be badgeless with only the running pony on the rear decklid (as it currently is, but without any lettering)

If I can't get the visor lettering that I want, then I might do something like the pic below... that way I can keep the overall Black/Silver/Red style as the rest of the car.

*I probably wouldn't use the word "Racing"... I just put that on there to represent *some* word that would be in red script (haven't decided what yet)

Hey, to those who have visor lettering (like the roush, saleen, trufiber ect. What is the height of the letters in inches? Thanks.

Any luck finding what you want? I could probably make you something that would achieve what you are looking for. Unlike vinyl cut letters on a carrier, I could print your lettering on an adhesive backed clear substrate. Would you stick this outside or inside the car? I could print it mirror image and then it could be placed inside the glass. If you want to send me a file I'd be glad to look at it.

Thanks for the offer Ford-a-tude! I've got a few options I'm looking at. As for the hollow, or outlined lettering, I could always get the solid lettering and then set my offset-cutter to 1/4" and cut out the center myself.

If I need you though, I'll know where I can find you. Thanks!!!
