I'm interested as well. I've been looking at the copper/bronze colors that come on the newer superduty trucks and thinking hard about making a trip to the paint booth myself.
I'd be the same way... has to be the PERFECT color. Hope you can find it soon..whats wrong with the Ford bronze? I really like the S-281 you have on the first page...

Is that the color on the New Edge?
I think Ford should come out with a Grabber Green for the next Mustang line up.

It's hard to explain, It looks nice on the computer screen, but in person "Ford Blazing Copper" just doesn't Pop. My Patriot Blue dakota after a Polishing has more "pop" than the Edge SUV, perhaps because of the flake or the pearls in the paint, I don't know how to explain it.
The Saleen looks nice too, but without seeing it in person I'd be afraid to just say to the painter "Paint it" and have to live with the results. Even the paint sample I obtained of official "PPG Copperhead", well in person looks very little like the picture I have of Stacy David's Copperhead over my desk. My feeling is that he or his painter took that "color" and worked the "shading" over a little bit to get it just right.
Since I'm not in a huge hurry or breathing down his neck, we can take our time and find the "it" shade, especially if he wants to stick with Dupont paints for the "Top Gun" contest, whatever that is.
