Default CS v6 conversion

Hey guys sorry if I am asking a previously answered question, but I tried the search and it came up empty.

Anyway, I have a 08 v6 and stock front bumper but I really like the cali special front end and really want to have it on mine. I am told I need a GT grill kit? http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...ont-Bumper-Kit

They say I need the GT grill or something.. And I was wondering if there's any easier way to get that CS look without having to get the GT grill?

The V6 and GT grilles are somewhat different in shape. To do it right, yeah, you need a grille designed for a GT bumper

Ah, i see. Thank you very much! Although I am a bit disappointed about having to buy two separate front end pieces

You should be able to find a used factory grille pretty cheap since a lot of people swap them out

Used GT factory grilles are actually pretty expensive unless you can find them off of a forum member. I have been looking at them and they range between $150-$200, but if you keep searching through the forums and on ebay I'm sure you could find a good deal. Good luck.

Thanks everyone! I anticipated this mod being a bit pricey but I guess ill just have to shop around and see where it takes me. If experience is any clue for me, I always look around for one thing then buy a totally different mod in the end. haha

True, I guess I should have rephrased it. You can find them cheap, on craigslist and the classifieds. I got my fogs for 25 a piece, rather than the 100 each some places want. Just gotta keep your eyes open

I know I would have never thought that the fog lights were so expensive. Some places want a ton for them.
OP, if you find a cheap GT grille jump on it, because it may be hard to find another for a good price.

This x100. I found great deals on both my front and rear bumpers, and even though I wasn't planning for them at the time, I had to jump on it. When a good deal comes along, sometimes you can't pass it up. Especially considering how much some of these car parts can cost
