I got a 2009 D3 torch red stang and i was thinking I want to get the gt 500 spoiler but im debating between paint matched and a black...im getting the Rouch paint matched skirts shipped right now. I have all the windows tinted + the moon roof (so the top has to be tinted black) and decklid blackout (magnetic) so it wouldn't be about 30 secs to take off. Im second guessing myself more than a scitsofrentic at jeopardy

 

I'd say to order the spoiler the same color as the car.

I was considering getting a black GT500 spoiler but went with the white. I think the pedistal style spoilers can pull it off but the GT500 might be hit or miss

 

I would say color match for sure, IMO

 

I plan on getting one too and I'm matching the color, I agree with alec about the pedistal being able to pull it off but I think the GT500 would look weird

 

^ Hey, I remember that pic....that was taken as part of a cruise we did some years back to benefit the old cinema in the background. Sorry for hijacking the thread...brought back memories.

 

I have a black painted spoiler (Roush) and love it, but for the GT500 type, I've only seen one where it wasn't color matched to the car, and that one looked awful. Just doesn't suit the style of that spoiler.
