Leather seats
Hey there
looking into buying a used s197 in the next couple weeks, and wanted sme ideas for seats, this is assuming the car has cloth seats. I saw some real sexy lookin red leather seats in the ROTM thread for march and was wonderin where you could buy them. I am open to other nice seats too though preferably leather, if you have any in your car feel free to post them, i need ideas!

eBay usually has some decent deals for newtake off. They have some GT500 seats for a good price right now. They do have the snake on them, but its embossed so really you and your passengers would be the only ones to see it. I'm probably going to get a set when I get my leather seats. The quality looks awesome.

i do hope to get one with the PP, but i have a friend who owns a body shop who goes to auctions almost everyday, he sees 10+ mustangs with slight body damage each time. a newer v6 goes for 5-7k with low miles. best case scenario is a newer s197 like 2007-8 with less then 50k miles a 5 spd and the PP. those gt500 seats are sick, but 550 for only the leather seems a bit much. i think you need a special kit to go from cloth to leather if your switching the cover only not the entire seat.

very nice, when it says for factory equipped leather seats only, is there a way to fit them on factory cloth?
otherwise i was looking at somethin like these:

I only thing that I can think of is maybe they aren't "roush" seats and that they just want them sold. Either way they still look good.
