Default Leather seat install question

Alrighty, I just gone done installing most of my Pony Package leather covers, with considerable help from my Fiance. Lol
The only real problem we ran into is, the head rest mounts.
We tried to put the post back into the driver seat, but they locked in in the wrong position.
Can they be taken out without removing the leather from the seat?

And I'll post pics tomorrow.

I did the same thing at first. I rolled up the cover as much as I could then reached up through the back and used some pliers to squeeze it together and pop it out, if that makes sense

Tanner,

My headrests have a plastic bezel around each of the metal legs. One of these is squeezed to release the lock and allow you to pull the headrest up.

When you install the cover on the upper seat, these bezels should be on top of the leather.

I hope he doesn't mean he needs to get the bezels out. I think that would require restripping the cover.

I went through the back since it's open and the front has the foam and all the metal support stuff. Hopefully you don't have to pull the whole thing off

I'm really hoping we don't too, Alec. I HATED installing the zip ties.

Here is the part I'm talking about

Here is just the finished product, for being used they are in great condition I'm pretty damn happy with them. One of my top mods for sure.

Looking good tanner! Glad you got everything sorted out.

Now welcome to the world of 3rd degree burns whenever you make the mistake of leaving your car in the sun LOL.

What'd I tell you about the leathers Tanner? I LOVE mine, makes the cloth look so cheap. But yeah, I f'ed up those plastic base things too. Had to reach up through the back with pliers. Hopefully you can get em out. Could you try squeezing them together as low down as you can (from the outside)? Maybe they're up far enough that they'll pop out with a little effort. Just an idea

And the wrinkles will even out in the sun/heat
